His background includes serving as a Controller and senior finance lead, with direct responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational support.

How the firm is built

Finance and Operations Belong Together

Most advisory firms separate financial work from operations work. We do not. Most business decisions are made without clear numbers behind them. We fix that first.

A business that has clean books but no operating structure will still struggle to execute. A business that has a capable team but no financial visibility will make expensive decisions without knowing it. The two areas are directly connected, but the financial picture has to lead. We treat them that way.

Why This Firm Exists

Most businesses do not struggle because people are not working hard. They struggle because roles are not clearly defined, numbers are not trusted, and decisions get made without the right information.

We built this firm to solve those problems specifically. Not to offer a generic advisory service. Not to sell a suite of products. To help business owners get control of their business and build something that holds up as it grows.

The Name

Robert Thomas Group is named after the founder's two sons, Robert and Thomas. The name reflects the kind of firm this is: built to last, grounded in something real, and not built to be sold.
